We get this question alot. It breaks down to 2 main areas:
Ongoing support - this consists of supplies, volunteer hours/days and funding. Each are a critical component of our ability to be successful. Our Church support has started to expand which has been beneficial in each of the three areas addressed above;
Board Support - this is in two areas:
Board Members - due to personal demands, we have had 3 Board members leave
an already low populated Board. If you have a passion to serve and to participate in
making decisions about helping our clients and mapping our future, we would love
to have you - please let us know
Executive Committee - we have been looking for 2+ years to fill this need. We need
a group of individuals, preferably, leaders in the business community, who can
work with the Board in the areas of finance, fund raising, grant solicitation, strategic planning, etc. This group would work with the Board in these and other areas to be defined.
