What Information We Collect 

We receive, collect and store information about you or about your interaction with N2N solely for the purpose of supporting Neighbor2Neighbor (N2N) operations to help the homeless/near homeless in Kansas City.   There are two general methods of information collection:

Information about your interaction with N2N:  

When you visit our website, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; general information about the device/computer you are using (eg mobile vs non-mobile device, device IOS, etc)  and connection information (connection duration, etc).  This information is used to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page.

The Information About You:  

Any personal information about you is received entirely from you voluntarily entering information to access our Patron-only pages or on any of our forms (eg account info, volunteer schedules, donations, etc).   This information includes your name, email, phone number, address, N2N login and N2N login password.  In addition, when you conduct a transaction on our website, as a volunteer or donor, we collect  any volunteer details (dates, times, commitments) or donation details (dates, donation items, quantity and details).  We also keep any general feedback and comments you make to us.

Pictures and Articles About You

N2N stores personal pictures of people and events associated with N2N and reserves the right to post them on our website.  However, we are cognizant that sometimes a picture may depict a highly sensitive situation.  In those instances, N2N will seek your written consent to include your image on our website.

Additionally, N2N also provides our visitors with occasional blogs and other content that may individually focus on persons engaged with N2N in an attempt to describe success stories, personal celebrations or challenges that may be important for a larger audience to be aware of.   Prior to any such publication, N2N will seek your written consent prior to any such publication.

Any information we collect is solely for the purpose of supporting N2N and the operation of our website:

  • To communicate to the broader N2N community of followers of specific volunteers, donors or participants in N2N support services that we celebrate, appreciate or have important things to share that promote the goals and mission of Neighbor2Neighbor.
