Unplanned Picnic Lunches!

Since the fire on 7/12/23 at our host Church, The Mount Christian Worship Center, we have been serving sack lunches from under an awning (up to 100 per day), keeping our perishable supplies in the refrigerators at our neighboring transitional home and non perishable items in the shipping container shown. Through all of this, our volunteers have continued to serve and support, we pray, our Executive Director gets our guests into needed recovery, our case manager counsels those in need, the dominoes games continue unabated and we continue to touch lives in the Spirit of Christian Community.

We are hopefully close to obtaining a temporary (until The Mount reopens) facility which we will provide us space for meal preparation, dining facilities and office space. Please review the below photos which show how our commitment to those we serve does not stop, regardless of the circumstances.
