Hello everyone! For those of you who don't know me, I'm the new Secretary on the Board of n2n. I will be working with a few others to resume more frequent updates so we can all keep up with the goings-on at n2n. We will also be working to make some updates to the website in the coming weeks and months so stay tuned!
The newest news is our newest Newsletter! Our new Board President, Patrick, along with other members of the board have worked hard to update our newsletter to a new format. We hope it will be easy to read and enjoy!
Lastly, as winter has arrived, we are working hard to help support our neighbors during the cold Kansas City winter days and nights. In addition to passing out coats, hats, gloves, and hand warmers, we are making a goal to keep our doors open 2 hours longer each day to provide a place of warmth and safety during the cold months. This additional 2 hours per day will add approximately an additional $100 per day to our operating budget – that’s about $9,000 needed for the winter months.
A great way to partner with us and to maximize the effectiveness of n2n is to set up recurring donations. This allows us to plan ahead and make commitments to our neighbors to be a refuge during the bitter cold just around the corner.
Please join us in assisting the homeless and near-homeless this winter!
To donate to this initiative, please visit our "Donate" Page or click here: https://givebutter.com/n2nWinter25.
Thank you all for your continuing support of n2n and our mission to make a difference and spark new beginnings through kindness and a spirit of radical hospitality.
