What a rewarding day! Christmas Eve has been a special day for KCWOLC (Lions Cub) Despite freezing weather, started early at 7:30am, preparing to feed in collaboration with Neighbor2Neighbor, at Mt Washington Missionary Baptist Church. Because of COVID pandemic, we have to revised our way of feeding the less fortunate. Wearing masks, social distancing & hand sanitizing were the norm! As they go through the line, the feeding project culminated with 100+ recipients of meals, fruits, Christmas stockings filled with grandma cookies, chocolates, candies-Candy canes,, M&M, snickers, Kit Kat, scarves, gloves, socks, hats, masks, sanitizer & tote bags. The children received paddle balls, hot wheels or mini mouse doll. As the Lions say, WE SERVED“ Mission accomplished! To our donors & sponsors, thank you for your support especially to Lion Alcy, Lion Birju, Lion Greg & Joy Doolin. Grateful for the many blessings! Merry Christmas to all 🎄🎁🌲❤️

What do we need help with?

We get this question alot. It breaks down to 2 main areas: Ongoing support - this consists of supplies, volunteer hours/days and funding. Each are a critical component of our ability to be successful.
